Ever since Rishi Kapoor has flown down to New York for medical treatment, his fans and media have been awaiting his return. In fact, it was reported that Rishi would be back home by March-end and it got his fans all excited. But much to their disappointment, the Agneepath actor isn't returning to India this month, owing to his current medical condition.

Clearing the air about his return, a source close to the Kapoors stated that Rishi is homesick and eager to return to his homeland. However, his treatment is slow, as a result, he isn't ready to return. "His treatment is slow but steady. Hopefully, he can come home in a few months. But at the end of this month? No way," the source added.
'My treatment needs immense patience. Not one of my virtues'
Earlier, Rishi had opened up on his treatment in NY and stated that he is recovering well. However, he also mentioned that the treatment is a long process, which requires patience. "My treatment is on, hopefully, I will recover soon. The procedure is long and tedious and one needs immense patience, which unfortunately is not one of my virtues," Rishi reportedly told Bollywood Hungama.
Rishi, Neetu have 'a wedding to plan,' says source
Interestingly, there were reports that Ranbir Kapoor is planning to marry girlfriend Alia Bhatt soon. The reports further suggested that Kapoors and Bhatts will be meeting a pandit to finalize the wedding date in April. But now they'll have to wait until Rishi's return. "Rishi is very eager to return home. They have a wedding to plan. And he's counting days," the source stated.
