Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal to tie knot in April
Bollywood is all set to witness another wedding as powerhouse actors and long-time partners Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal have finally decided to take the big leap. For long, the star couple brushed off wedding rumors, but several fresh reports suggest that they are all set to tie the knot in April this year. They have already applied for the registration of their marriage.
Richa, Ali have submitted application for marriage registration
According to a report in Mid-Day, Richa and Ali applied for marriage registration at the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai, earlier this month. "The duo submitted their application on February 15...Considering Ali and Richa have shoots lined up, they hope to wrap up their commitments by March 31, and dedicate April to their wedding functions," a source told the publication.
Currently, the preparations are on in full swing
The wedding will take place around mid-April and shall be followed by a court marriage in Mumbai, the source further revealed. Confirming the reports, the spokesperson of the actors told HT, "Currently, only the date for the registration has been taken. As per the process, a three-month window is valid [for the wedding to take place] from the date that has been allotted."
It happened organically, Richa once said about the relationship
Talking about her relationship with Ali, Richa had earlier said, "It's rare to find like-minded people who share certain core values and have similar interests...Ali is also progressive and liberal. To find someone like that in your industry is rare. Also, we never expected to end up together. It happened organically." "Ali is a sweetheart," Richa had said in another statement.

For the unversed, Richa and Ali have been dating for more than two years. They first met on sets of their 2013 comedy movie Fukrey. The duo made their relationship official in 2017, as they arrived together at Venice Film Festival for Ali's movie Victoria & Abdul. Since then, they have made countless public appearances together. They also recently sneaked a trip to Maldives.
