He will be returning with the second season of 'The Kapil Sharma Show' which will reportedly be produced by Salman Khan. While the news of Kapil's return has made the audience excited, it is reported that Salman had put forward a special condition for backing Kapil's show.
Salman wants to have Sunil Grover in 'TKSS2'
Ever since Kapil has announced 'TKSS2' there have been reports about his reunion with Sunil Grover. We all know how the two made every moment of the show a laughter ride with their chemistry. While no official announcement has been made about his return, it is reported that Salman wants to bring Sunil back on the show. So will Kapil-Sunil end their cold war?
Kapil-Sunil may call it truce for Salman
According to a report published in PinkVilla, owing to Salman's demand, Kapil and Sunil have called it a truce. The report stated that Salman, who is currently working with Sunil in 'Bharat', had urged the comedian to return and he has agreed. "Since Guthi aka Sunil Grover is important for the show, Salman urged Sunil to take up the show," the report stated.
Backstory: Kapil-Sunil parted ways post mid-air fight
Notably, Kapil and Sunil turned loggerheads last year post a mid-air fight. It was reported that Kapil had manhandled Sunil during a flight and even hurled abuses at him in an inebriated state. Miffed by Kapil's behavior, Sunil walked out of 'TKSS'. Although Kapil did apologize for his actions, Sunil gave him a hard-hitting reply and advised him to respect his fellow co-stars.
Meanwhile, Kapil to begin shooting for 'TKSS 2' next month
So far no official announcement has been made regarding Kapil and Sunil's reunion. However, the media reports suggest that Kapil will begin shooting for 'TKSS2' from December 16. Reportedly, 'TKSS2' has been delayed owing to the creative issues and will now hit the floors post Kapil's wedding on December 12. Meanwhile, Kapil is busy preparing for his wedding with girlfriend Ginni Chatrath.
