As Aishwarya completes two decades, Rekha pens an emotional letter
Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as she has completed two decades in the Indian film industry. And one of the most special wishes for the actress has come from Rekha who penned a heart-rending letter for her which was published by a leading magazine. Aishwarya had made her acting debut in Mani Ratnam's 'Iruvar' opposite Mohanlal in 1997.
Excerpts from Rekha's letter
Heaping praises on the former Miss World, Rekha wrote, "A woman like you who is in harmony with her spirit is like a flowing river, never stagnant. You are a living example that courage is the most important of all the virtues." "You pursued the things you loved doing; and then did them so well that people can't take their eyes off you!"
Rekha signed off on a special note
"You always gave better than the best to all the roles you were bestowed with but my most cherished character of yours is the role of the complete Amma that you are, to the little bundle of pure joy called Aaradhya," Rekha said.
Aishwarya will be next seen in 'Fanne Khan'
Aishwarya, who has worked with some of the biggest of names of the Hindi film industry in her illustrious career so far, will be next seen in 'Fanne Khan'. The film brings her together with Anil Kapoor on the big screen after 18 years. An adaptation of the Dutch film 'Everybody's Famous', 'Fanne Khan' also features Rajkummar Rao.
