FIR lodged against Raveena Tandon for shooting inside a temple
An FIR has been lodged against Raveena Tandon for allegedly filming an advertisement inside the premises of a temple in Bhubaneswar. The incident came to light after a video of the actress offering beauty tips inside Sri Lingaraj Temple surfaced online. The authorities were offended as the shooting was held in the 'no camera zone'. Hence, they resorted to legal action.
Management-in-charge of the temple administration confirmed the reports
"The temple administration has filed a complaint against Raveena Tandon at Lingaraj Police Station for shooting an advertisement film in the no camera zone," said Rajiv Lochan Parida.
Police has begun their investigation
Bhubaneswar DCP Satybrat Bhoi said that the Police are looking into the matter as only servitors have the permission to carry mobile phones inside the temple. "Raveena's act has certainly violated the security norms as well as hurt the sentiments of the devotees," he added. The Archaeological Survey of India is also examining the incident.
