Simmba opened at the box-office with a bang and is continuing the trend. The movie, which earned Rs. 20.72 crores on day one, witnessed a massive jump on day two. The total collections stand at Rs. 44.05 crore. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Simmba is expected to score big in the opening weekend and will continue to top the box-office chart.

To recall, Ranveer stated that it was an honor for him to work with Rohit. And now the actor has expressed his gratitude towards him for seeing him as Simmba. "I thank Rohit for trusting that I can do his masala cop film convincingly," he added. The record-breaking opening of Simmba has ended 2018 on a much sweeter note for Ranveer.
