One of the highest-paid actors of Bollywood and the one who's been featured on the 'Forbes India' Celebrity 100 list regularly over the past few years, Ranveer Singh, is an actor in the Hindi film industry. He was always intrigued by an acting career and started off by participating in school plays. However, after his schooling, he felt that acting was a far-fetched thought and decided to pursue creative writing and took theater as his minor at Indiana University in the US. Upon returning to Mumbai, he worked for a few advertising companies and then worked as an assistant director. In 2010, Singh got his first lead role in Bollywood in the film 'Band Baaja Baaraat', which became a huge sleeper hit and won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. In the following years, he was seen in the multi-starrer 'Ladies vs Ricky Bahl' and 'Lootera' opposite Sonakshi Sinha. Singh's first movie with Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, 'Ramleela', was released in 2013, after which he went on to do 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Padmaavat' with the duo, which are among the highest-grossing Bollywood movies.
