Ranveer Singh's 'Simmba' gets massive success, enters Rs. 100cr club

The year 2019 started on an impressive note for Ranveer Singh. The actor unveiled the first look of his upcoming movie Gully Boy.
And now his recent release Simmba is a proud member of the coveted Rs. 100 crore club.
The movie witnessed a fantastic run at the box office and minted Rs. 124.54cr after five days of release.

Simmba, which was the last release of 2018, opened the New Year with a bang as it has set the box office on fire.
The movie which got an impressive start with a collection of Rs. 20.72 cr, had a fantastic opening weekend and earned Rs. 75.11 cr.
Although Simmba witnessed a minor dip in collections on Monday, it got an upsurge on Tuesday.

Not only for Ranveer, but Simmba is also doing wonders for director Rohit Shetty. The movie has become Rohit's eighth directorial to be a part of the prestigious Rs. 100 crore club.
He is the only Bollywood director who holds this record.

'Simmba' proves to be a milestone for Sara
Interestingly, Simmba became an important milestone for Sara Ali Khan, who is merely two films old in the industry.
The Pataudi princess made her debut with Kedarnath in December 2018.
Soon Sara came with her second release Simmba and with its success she has also found a place in the celebrated club.
