Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps has publicly apologized after facing severe backlash for his lewd remarks on the comedy show India's Got Latent.
In a video posted on Monday (February 10) on X/Twitter, he called his mistake a "lapse in judgment" and asked the public for forgiveness.
He also assured that he has asked the makers to edit out the controversial bits from the full video of the show.

The controversy started when Allahbadia, during the latest episode of India's Got Latent, asked a contestant "whether they would rather watch their parents have sex for the rest of their life or join them once and put a stop to it."
His question was termed "disgusting and indecent."
A complaint was filed against him for alleged use of 'abusive language' and 'promoting obscenity.'
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also condemned the incident, saying "strict action" will be taken.
Apology
'I am just here to say sorry': Allahbadia
In his apology, Allahbadia said, "My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry."
He went on to add, "Many of you asked if this is how I wish to use my platform and obviously, this is not how I wish to use it."
"I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened."
Responsibility
Allahbadia acknowledged responsibility and promised improvement
Taking responsibility, the 31-year-old YouTuber further said, "The podcast is watched by people of all ages and I don't want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly, and family is the last thing that I would ever disrespect."
He also said he would use his platform more responsibly henceforth. "I need to use this platform better, that's been my learning from this whole experience. I promise to just get better," he said.
