Randeep Hooda talks about his Hollywood debut movie 'Extraction'
Randeep Hooda is all set to make his Hollywood debut with an upcoming Netflix film Extraction. Directed by Sam Hargrave and written by Joe Russo of the famed directing duo Russo Brothers, Extraction features Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth in the lead role. It was a great experience, Randeep said
Talking about his association with the project, Randeep said in a press statement, "I get to do a lot of action in the movie. I might be the first Indian male actor to do such an action-packed role in a Hollywood film." "It was a great experience working with [Chris] Hemsworth, Russo brothers and the director Sam Hargrave," he added.
I've never worked with such a director, Randeep added
Randeep added, "It (his character) is described as a wrecking ball in the script. He's had a run as a military personnel...For the action shots, we rehearsed twice a day for 10 days, since many of my roles so far have been more dramatic." "I must say, I've never had a director on a wire, hanging next to me, giving me instructions," he concluded.
'Extraction' to release on Netflix on April 24
Previously titled Dhaka, Extraction revolves around the story of Tyler Rake (Chris Hemsworth), a fearless black-market mercenary who embarks on his career's deadliest mission as he is enlisted to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned crime lord. The movie also stars Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi. Shot in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Thailand and Bangladesh, Extraction is set to release on Netflix on April 24.

Randeep to also feature in Salman Khan's 'Radhe'
Coming back to Randeep, the actor was last seen in Imtiaz Ali's Love Aaj Kal 2. He is currently working on Salman Khan's action movie Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Directed by Prabhu Deva, it is slated to release on May 22.
