Ranbir gives it back to Salman for his 'Sanju' comments
Ranbir Kapoor is being showered with immense praise and accolades for getting the looks and the mannerisms of Sanjay Dutt bang on in 'Sanju.' However, Salman Khan had a different point of view as he said that Sanjay should have played himself in the last bit of the film. Not much pleased with the remarks, Ranbir recently hit back at the superstar.
Ranbir explains why casting Sanjay wouldn't have worked
When asked for his reaction to Salman's comments, Ranbir said that it never happened that a person played himself in his own biopic as it destroys the effect of a character. He added that he has put in his best effort to do justice to the character and not let anybody down.
Ranbir gave a logical reasoning
"Whether people see me as a 40-year-old or a 20-year-old Sanjay Dutt, they should feel that they are watching an artist who is playing Sanjay Dutt. It is correct that I cannot become a second Sanjay Dutt," Ranbir said.
