Ranbir Kapoor not part of 'Dhoom 4', says new report
On Saturday, Pinkvilla reported that Ranbir Kapoor has been cast in the fourth installment of Yash Raj Films's Dhoom franchise. The report stated that Kapoor will play the antagonist in Dhoom 4, and no other cast member from the previous films will return. However, now, a new report by Times Now has refuted these claims entirely, saying, "There has been no talk of Dhoom 4, let alone who will star in it."
'Not even a germ of an idea for 'Dhoom' yet'
A source told the portal, "Aditya [Chopra] is not in a hurry to move on to Dhoom 4 unless there is a story that attracts him. Forget the screenplay, there is not even a germ of an idea for Dhoom yet." "Whenever it is made, it will be made with the original cast only." Another source, reportedly a close friend of Kapoor, said he won't do another actor's franchise, adding, "Dhoom is not Ranbir's scene at all."
Meanwhile, Kapoor is busy with these films
While Kapoor's involvement with this franchise remains uncertain, he has multiple other projects lined up. These include Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal Park, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. He was last seen in Animal, released in December 2023.
