Are Ranbir and Deepika pairing up for Luv Ranjan's next?
Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who last shared the silver screen in Tamasha, are all set to collaborate again after four years. According to media reports, they are in talks with director Luv Ranjan for his next. The duo was snapped at the Pyaar Ka Punchnama director's residence on Friday evening, sparking rumors about their next collaboration. Here are more details.

Ranbir has been waiting to collaborate with Luv
Almost a year ago, Luv announced that his next movie will have Ranbir in the lead. Talking about it, Ranbir had said that the two have been waiting to collaborate for a while. "I am sure this film will be a perfect start to our association," the actor said. While reports of Deepika's association with the project are rife, an official announcement is awaited.

Apart from Ranbir, the movie will also star Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. Notably, this will be Ranbir's second collaboration with Ajay after the 2010 release Rajneeti and he is excited about it. "I have immense respect for Ajay sir and I'm excited about sharing the screen with him again. His body of work is inspiring," the Jagga Jasoos actor told TOI.
Luv is looking forward to working with two 'powerhouse' performers
Meanwhile, Luv is excited to work with Ranbir and Ajay, whom he calls "powerhouse performers". "Ajay and Ranbir's spontaneity and versatility is electrifying and I am elated to be working with not one, but two powerhouse performers in my next film," he said. Further, Luv added that both the actors have "found the script amazing" and are excited about their respective roles.
Separately, Ranbir is gearing up for 'Brahmastra'
Ranbir is also looking forward to the release of his much-awaited movie Brahmastra opposite Alia Bhatt. It will be releasing in early 2020. On the other hand, Deepika, who was in London recently, will be seen in Kabir Khan's sports drama '83 opposite husband Ranveer Singh. Besides, she is also working on Meghna Gulzar's Chhapaak, based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
