Rana Daggubati brings Cannes winner 'All We Imagine...' to India

Spirit Media, a company founded by Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati, has secured the Indian distribution rights for Payal Kapadia's Cannes award-winning film All We Imagine as Light, reported Variety.
The movie marks Kapadia's narrative directorial debut and features a story about two women in Mumbai navigating their personal lives.
The cast includes Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam, and Hridhu Haroon.
International distribution
'All We Imagine as Light' set for global release
The film has already secured distribution deals in the US, France, and several other major territories. It is scheduled for a fall release in the US.
With these agreements, All We Imagine as Light is set to become one of the most widely distributed Indian independent films when it premieres globally.
Spirit Media has previously supported independent films such as Bommalata, C/o Kancharapalem, Charlie777 and 35-Chinna Katha Kaadu.

Kapadia's film explores female friendship and solidarity
Kapadia described her film as a story about the friendship between three women.
She emphasized that "oftentimes women are pitted against each other, but for me, friendship is a very important relationship because it can lead to greater solidarity, inclusivity, and empathy toward each other."
The movie won the Grand Prix at Cannes earlier this year and has been praised by critics worldwide.

'All We Imagine as Light' produced by international collaboration
The film was produced by Thomas Hakim and Julian Graff through their France-based company Petit Chaos.
It is a co-production with Indian companies Chalk & Cheese Films and Another Birth, as well as the Netherlands's BALDR Film, Luxembourg's Les Films Fauves, Italy's Pulpa Films, and France's Arte France Cinema.
The movie is expected to be a strong contender for the Indian entry to the Academy Awards's international feature category.
