Producer Ramesh Taurani has quashed the recent rumors of actor Harshvardhan Rane being a part of the upcoming film Race 4.
This comes after a Filmfare report suggested that Rane would be playing the negative lead in the movie.
However, Taurani confirmed that no such decision has been taken.
"No, this is fake news. He hasn't been roped in for the role and nothing about this role has been finalized yet," he told Hindustan Times.

Saif Ali Khan's return to 'Race' franchise confirmed
Saif Ali Khan's return to the Race franchise was confirmed by Taurani in October 2024, but no other cast members have been finalized yet.
When asked about other cast updates, Taurani replied, "No cast has been finalized as now so I can't comment on the names."
He added that Race 4 will start at the end of the year.
