The founder of Tips Industries, one of the biggest music record labels in India, Ramesh Taurani, is the owner of one of the largest corporate houses of music in the country. Until 1975, Taurani traded in Long-Playing Records in India for some big and renowned companies. By 1977, Taurani, along with his brother, became the biggest dealers of LPs in western India. Motivated by their huge success, their tenacity to make their dream come true increased, and the brothers starting putting forward ideas for founding their music label. After evaluating the condition of the market and discussing their business plans for numerous days, Taurani started 'Tips Industries'. In 1996, he produced the first film 'Beqabu' under the banner of his company. In the following years, there was no looking back for the Taurani brothers as they produced numerous movies in the industry. In the late 2000s, 'Race', 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' and 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya', became some of their huge hits at the box office. Tips also produced Punjabi films and Tamil songs and partnered with OTT platforms including, Netflix.
