'Ramayana: The Legend...' to have enhanced features for the hearing-impaired
The cult classic anime film, Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, will release theatrically on October 18. Geek Pictures India has announced that the film will be available in newly dubbed Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions, in addition to its original English dub. Geek Pictures India, AA Films, and Farhan Akhtar-Ritesh Sidhwani's Excel Entertainment will be handling its distribution all over India.
'Ramayana' re-release to feature enhanced accessibility
The re-released film will be remastered in 4K resolution with immersive 5.1 surround sound. Additionally, it will incorporate enhanced accessibility features for the hearing impaired, complying with the latest guidelines set by India's Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB). "We are proud to announce that the film will comply with the latest guidelines set by the MIB," Geek Pictures India said in a statement.
'Baahubali' writer on board for 'Ramayana' re-release
The re-release will feature the creative input of screenwriter V Vijayendra Prasad, known for his work on blockbusters like Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and RRR. "We have taken on the responsibility of reviving this cherished epic," Geek Pictures said. The film was co-produced by Japan and India and co-directed by Koichi Sasaki and Ram Mohan. It was planned and produced by Yugo Sako.
