'Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama' to release next month!
The celebrated anime film, Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama, is all set to hit theaters across India in Hindi, English, Tamil, and Telugu on October 18. The film's teaser and poster were recently by Geek Pictures India on Thursday, generating widespread enthusiasm among fans. This adaptation has been enriched by the creative input of renowned screenwriter Shri V Vijayendra Prasad, who has penned hits like Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and RRR.
A testament to Indo-Japan collaborations
Arjun Aggarwal, the co-founder of Geek Pictures India, highlighted the significance of this Indo-Japan collaboration. He said, "The Ramayana in anime is a groundbreaking testament to the strength of Indo-Japan collaborations." This is the first time that the film will hit Indian theaters.

The film is slated for release during the festive season of Dussehra and Diwali. It will be distributed across India by Geek Pictures India, AA Films, and Excel Entertainment, and is expected to captivate audiences nationwide. The film was co-produced by Japan and India and co-directed by Koichi Sasaki and Ram Mohan (known as the father of Indian animation). It was planned and produced by Yugo Sako.
