Casting couch: Ram Charan breaks silence on Sri Reddy controversy
Telugu superstar Ram Charan, who is currently basking in the success of his last release 'Rangasthalam', has finally put across his viewpoint about the ongoing casting couch debate. He also talked about the Sri Reddy controversy that shook up the entire film fraternity. Many renowned names have spoken on the matter thus far.
Ram condemned the malicious practice
He said, "I'm not talking particularly about Sri Reddy. But overall, to hear this word anywhere, in any industry - whether in politics, business industry, doesn't sound right to anyone." "Nobody would encourage it, especially when I have five of my sisters in the same field, I would personally not want to pursue it or witness such a disaster in the industry," he added.
Reddy did not shy away from raising her voice
It was last month that Reddy resorted to stripping down to her bare minimum in front of the MAA office to protest against casting couch. A few days later, she went on to reveal that 'Baahubali' star Rana Daggubati's brother Abhiram Daggubati had demanded sexual favors from her and promised to get her a role in a film but didn't.
