Watch: Rakhi Sawant sports fake baby bump, says it's twins!
Television's ultimate drama queen Rakhi Sawant is back at it again! Sawant—who was recently in the news for expressing her wish to become a mother after Alia Bhatt's pregnancy—was recently spotted outside her gym with a hilarious, fake baby bump. Unsurprisingly, her video went viral within a few hours. Read on to find out how she pulled off this crazy antic.
Why does this story matter?
Sawant has been active in the entertainment industry since 1997 and keeps dominating headlines for her entertaining, albeit sometimes controversial videos and statements. She made a name for herself due to her participation in reality shows such as Bigg Boss (numerous seasons) and Nach Baliye. She has also done side roles and dance appearances in films such as Main Hoon Na and Masti.
Sawant called her 'babies' 'messiah' and 'baahubali'
In the video, the 43-year-old actor was spotted outside her gym with a friend, and, naturally, the paparazzi rushed to ask her the reason behind the fake bump. Not deviating from her usual sass, Sawant replied that Adil (her boyfriend) was the father of her "twins." She went on to call them "Baahubali" and "Messiah," who will be sent on Earth to fight evil.

While some appreciated her entertaining side, others trolled her massively
As is always the case with her videos, this one, too has left the Internet divided. While several netizens lauded her self-confidence, others criticized her for her alleged "need of spotlight 24*7." One Instagram user commented, "At least she is entertaining," while another one said, "Rakhi is a complete package." Not everyone was impressed, though, and some trolled her for "making fun of pregnancy."
Some netizens' religious sentiments were hurt by the video
While most of the negative comments were focused on Sawant "hogging limelight," a few others were in a more serious vein. Since Sawant said she'll deliver "Messiah" and "Paigambar," she drew the ire of several people for "dragging religion in a frivolous video made for entertainment." As a result, several netizens demanded the removal of the video. Sawant is yet to comment.
