Rakhi's "see-through" dress gets her trolled, she blames media's lights
Bollywood's bombshell Rakhi Sawant has found herself at the center of yet another controversy, this time due to her choice of attire. The actress went to an event wearing a see-through shimmery dress, for which she was trolled mercilessly. But a distressed Rakhi claims she wasn't aware her dress was this "transparent" and even blamed media's lights for "exposing her body". Here's what happened.
Rakhi had "no intentions of exposing" in public
It all started when Rakhi attended the launch event of her song Chappan Churi. While she was shaking her leg on the new track, her transparent gown became the talk of the town. Defending herself, Rakhi stated that the dress was provided by a designer and she had no intentions of exposing in public. Further, she said the row deeply upset her.
Apparently, Rakhi couldn't stop her tears
Interestingly, a video has surfaced on social media wherein Rakhi can be seen crying her heart out over the incident. Explaining her side of the story, the actress stated that she wasn't aware that the entire media fraternity would be present at the event. "I didn't know that the (bright) media lights would make my dress look transparent," an inconsolable Rakhi said.
In fact, the controversy is affecting Rakhi's married life too
Rakhi, who recently announced that she got hitched, alleged the controversy is adversely affecting her married life. She said, "My personal man, he doesn't understand me. I think my life is over. I am sorry fans, I think my life is over. I was a very strong person, but I think my life is over. People will never understand me," Rakhi added.

Earlier, Rakhi said her husband isn't a "media-friendly" person
For the uninitiated, Rakhi married Ritesh, an NRI from the UK, in a private ceremony held at JW Marriott on July 28. The 40-year-old actress tied the knot as per Hindu and Christian rituals in the presence of 4-5 people. While Rakhi stays in the news due to one reason or another, she had revealed her husband isn't a "media-friendly person".
