Rakhi Sawant breaks down after being allegedly molested in Punjab
Rakhi Sawant never leaves a chance to grab limelight with her controversial and often-laughable histrionics. However, this time she is in the headlines for an unfortunate incident. According to media reports, the diva was, recently, molested by a group of men during a promotional roadshow event in Punjab's Ludhiana city. Miffed with the incident, she ended up breaking down, while talking to media.
Youth went up in Rakhi's jeep and molested her
Reportedly, the incident took place in Ludhiana, where Rakhi was present to promote wrestling, a day before the opening of Continental Wrestling Entertainment event on March 2. Rakhi was accompanied by Indian professional wrestler The Great Khali in an open jeep during the roadshow. While the promotional event was on, a group went up in Rakhi's jeep and touched her inappropriately, media reports suggested.
Rakhi, breaks down, says not willing to visit Punjab ever
As per a report in Amar Ujala, Rakhi objected to the offensive behavior of the youth at the promotional event. She even got down the jeep to get a hold of the molesters, but they managed to escape. The incident, reportedly, left Rakhi distressed and she burst into tears during the roadshow. She further stated that she won't visit Punjab ever again.
Rakhi says accused must be like Mika Singh
Talking about the incident, Rakhi stated that she has lost all the respect she once had for the people of Punjab. The actress further stated that this unfortunate incident reminded her of singer Mika Singh, who once kissed her forcibly. Rakhi took a sly dig at Mika and compared him to the molester saying, "The accused, who ran away, must be someone like him".
Backstory: Mika kissed Rakhi forcibly 'to teach her a lesson'
To recall, Mika landed himself in serious trouble after he kissed Rakhi forcibly during his birthday bash in 2006. Consequently, Rakhi filed a molestation case against him. Defending himself, Mika claimed that it was Rakhi who misbehaved with him by applying cake on his face. "I lost my temper and in order to teach her a lesson I kissed her in public," he added.
There was no security for Rakhi during the roadshow
Coming back to the roadshow, Rakhi and Khali alleged that the Ludhiana Police didn't provide them with proper security during the event. The Bigg Boss 1 participant also claimed that the molestation took place because of the lackadaisical attitude of the cops. Furthermore, Rakhi stated that she won't be participating in the wrestling event if she isn't provided with proper security henceforth.
