#TurramKhan: Rajkummar Rao, Nushrat Bharucha to reunite after eight years
After basking on the success of his recent release 'Stree', Rajkummar Rao has been rolled for Hansal Mehta's upcoming directorial 'Turram Khan'. The movie, which happens to be a social-comedy, will also feature Nushrat Bharucha in the lead and will be shot in the locales of Uttar Pradesh. 'Turram Khan' will be jointly produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Rajkummar is quite excited to be a part of 'Turram Khan', which gives him a chance to collaborate with Hansal Mehta again. The actor-director duo has given movies like 'Shahid', 'City Lights', 'Aligarh' and Omerta'. Notably, Rajkummar got his due attention with 2012 release 'Shahid' for which he won a National Award too. The actor-director's another collaboration has certainly left us intrigued.

Talking about the movie, Rajkummar revealed that 'Turram Khan' is a comedy that the audience will love to watch. He also asserted that he trusts Hansal for creating memorable characters for him. "Hansal sir has played an instrumental role in my career. He has created some interesting and memorable characters for me, and I trust him blindly," Rajkummar added.
Rajkummar to work with Nushrat after 'Love Sex aur Dhoka'
Interestingly, 'Turram Khan' will also mark Rajkummar's reunion with 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' actress Nushrat Bharucha. The two had earlier shared the screen space in 2010 release 'Love Sex Aur Dhoka'. Talking about the same, the 'Stree' actor stated, "I have known Nushrat since our days of attending auditions and screen tests. So, I am sure that this is going to be a fun collaboration."
Hansal Mehta calls 'Turram Khan' as his debut
Renowned filmmaker Hansal Mehta is also elated to direct his first comedy movie and said that it is like his debut all over again. "I am delighted to be collaborating with Luv on this comedy. It is a new chapter in my filmography with Rajkummar. This is my first out-and-out comedy and it is like making my debut all over again," Mehta said.
