Rajkummar Rao channels 'desi' action avatar in new film poster
Rajkummar Rao has shared a poster for his upcoming film, following the success of his recent release, Stree 2. The title of the movie will be revealed on Saturday on the actor's birthday. The intriguing poster features Rao with his back to the camera, holding a gun, while fire rages on in the background. The film is being produced by Kumar Taurani of Tips Films and Jay Shewakramani of Northern Lights Films.
Recent release: 'Stree 2' garners positive response, rakes in ₹500cr
Rao was last seen in the horror-comedy sequel Stree 2, which received a largely positive response from critics. The film has grossed over ₹500 crore worldwide. In this sequel, Rao's character Vicky faces a new adversary, "Sarkata" (the headless one), and teams up with Stree to defeat him. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, and Pankaj Tripathi.
