Rajinikanth's son-in-law Vishagan's passport, money get stolen enroute to London
In a shocking turn of events, megastar Rajinikanth's son-in-law Vishagan Vanangamudi lost his passport and money while on his way to London. According to reports, Vishagan, who was accompanied by wife Soundarya Rajinikanth, got to know about the missing passport and money, which got stolen, after he landed at London's Heathrow Airport. The businessman-cum-actor soon filed a complaint with airport authorities.
Vishagan had planned a trip to London with wife Soundarya
It so happened that Vishagan, who often travels abroad for business trips, had recently planned a trip to Queen's city with Soundarya. They had booked business class tickets of the Emirates airlines and had boarded the flight from Chennai. However, when the Vanjagar Ulagam actor was inquired about his passport at the London airport, he found it missing from the bag.
The investigation is underway in the case
The media reports further suggested that apart from Vishagan's passport, his money (in American currency) was also missing. Reportedly, Vishagan informed the airport authorities about the theft, and filed a complaint about the same. After the case came to light, the Indian embassy issued a duplicate passport to the industrialist. For now, the concerned authorities are also investigating the matter.
Soundarya's son Ved was chief guest at her second wedding
Soundarya, who was earlier married to Chennai-based industrialist Ashwin Ramkumar, tied the knot with Vishagan on February 11 in a lavish ceremony in Chennai. Soundarya wore a magenta saree with heavy golden work, designed by Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. The wedding festivities kick-started on February 8, and went on for four days. Ved, her son with Ashwin, was the chief guest at the wedding.
