Earlier this week megastar Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya tied the knot with businessman-cum-actor Vishagan Vanangamudi in a lavish ceremony in Chennai. The wedding was a four-day affair, following which the newlyweds flew to Iceland for their honeymoon. And now the new bride, who is enjoying her marital bliss, shared breathtaking pictures from their honeymoon and they are all about 'snowy love'. Take a look.

Soundarya misses son Ved while enjoying her honeymoon

Soundarya took to micro-blogging site Twitter and shared two pictures from her honeymoon in snow-covered Iceland, and captioned those as, "#Iceland #Honeymoon #Freezing #LovingIt #LivingLife #GodsAreWithUs #MissingVed". While one was a selfie featuring the newly-weds, the other had the two in a warm hug. Meanwhile, Soundarya also said she's missing her son Ved (from her earlier marriage to Ashwin Ramkumar) while enjoying her honeymoon.

Needless to say, their wedding was one of the most talked about events of this year. While Rajinikanth's family made sure to keep pre-wedding festivities intimate, the wedding ceremony was a starry affair. Several politicians, industrialists, and A-lister actors were spotted making their way to the wedding, which was followed by an equally lavish wedding reception in the evening.

Divorce

This is second marriage for both Soundarya, Vishagan

For the uninitiated, this is Soundarya's second marriage. Her earlier marriage to Ashwin, a businessman, lasted seven years. They got divorced in 2017 owing to irreconcilable differences. Their son, Ved, was born in 2015. On the other hand, Vishagan also came through a troubled marriage and had divorced his wife, magazine editor Kanikha Kumaran, a few years ago.

Alliance

This alliance was fixed by Soundarya and Vishagan's families

Interestingly, there were reports about Soundarya and Vishagan dating each other for a while. However, a source close to the couple rubbished the reports and clarified that it was an arranged marriage for them. "Soundarya-Vishagan didn't know each other before. The alliance was initiated by Vishagan's aunt. When Rajini's family gave a green signal, Soundarya met Vishagan at a coffee shop," the source added.
