Here's how Rajinikanth persuaded producers to postpone '2.0'
It would not be wrong to say that '2.0' is one of the most anticipated films of recent times. Unfortunately, the Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer is taking longer than expected to hit the screens. Now as per the reports, the multiple delays have led to differences between director Shankar and the producers of the film. Here's more.
Rajinikanth had to step in to sort things out
The producers weren't pleased with Shankar taking so long to edit the film. And just when things seemed to be getting worse, Rajinikanth took control of the situation. "The megastar made sure that the producers' losses were compensated by getting them on-board for his next, 'Kaala Karikaalan' and making sure the film replaces '2.0' in the April slot," stated a media report.
The film has been postponed thrice
'2.0' was originally slated to release on Diwali 2017 but was pushed to Republic Day 2018. It was again delayed by 2 months to come out in April but now has further been postponed, and this time for an indefinite period. Fans have been keenly awaiting the film for a while now and we hope it sees the light of the day soon.
