Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' will now clash with Salman Khan's 'Race 3'
Two of the nation's biggest superstars, Rajinikanth and Salman Khan, will take on each other at the box office this Eid. As per a media report, their highly anticipated movies 'Kaala' and 'Race 3' are now slated to hit the screens together, making for one of the biggest clashes ever in Bollywood. Here's more.
'Kaala' original release date was April 27
Due to the on-going strike in the Southern film industry, 'Kaala' won't be able to hit the screens on its scheduled release date i.e. April 27. The film is yet to receive a NOC certificate from the Producers Council and cannot be sent for the censor formalities till then. Therefore, the makers have now decided to release the film on Eid.
'Race 3' is already booked for June 15
The release date of the third installment of the successful 'Race' franchise was announced almost a year ago. Apart from Salman, 'Race 3' also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. The film is jointly bankrolled by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani's Tips Films. Choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza is helming the project.
