Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer '2.0' gets postponed to 2019
In what has come as a disappointment for cine buffs across the country, the release of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer '2.0' has been shifted to 2019. The film was originally slated to come out on Republic Day this year but is getting incessantly delayed due to multiple reasons. Here is more about it.
The film is stuck in the post-production stage
As per a leading entertainment portal, '2.0' still requires a lot of VFX work, thus, the producers had no choice than to postpone it. "With the amount of VFX work still pending there is no way the makers will be able to release the film this year," said a media report.
The budget of '2.0' has gone overboard
Pertaining to the multiple delays in the release date, the budget of the film has gone overboard. "By the year-end, the makers of '2.0' are looking at completing majority of the VFX work but this constant delayed has created yet another problem and this time it is the budget that has gone haywire," the report further stated.
