Actor Rajeev Khandelwal loses his mother to cancer
Rajeev Khandelwal and his family are going through an emotional upheaval as the actor recently lost his mother to cancer. Vijay Laxmi Khandelwal had been battling with the disease for the last one and a half year. Rajeev took to Twitter to inform his fans about his loss and also shared a heart-touching note.
"She now lives within me"
Sharing his grief, Rajeev wrote, "My mom passed away day before yesterday after a year n a half long fight with cancer. We fought together, we hoped together but we couldn't come out of it together. I and my family are fine and have come to terms with it. She now lives within me." He also wrote that he's thankful for all the support.

On the work front, Rajeev returned to the small screen with a chat show titled 'JuzzBaatt...Sangeen Se Namkeen Tak'. He has previously hosted shows like 'Deal Ya No Deal' and 'Sach Ka Saamna'. The actor was also seen in a web-series titled 'Haq Se' alongside Surveen Chawla recently. The show streamed on Ekta Kapoor's digital platform ALTBalaji.
