The Rajasthan High Court has stayed police investigation against Salman Khan in the matter of allegedly making casteist remarks during the promotions of his last release 'Tiger Zinda Hai.' Harnam Singh, a former Chairman of Delhi Commission for Karamcharis had accused Salman of "committing atrocity" on the members of a caste by making an inappropriate remark during his appearance on a Television show. The petition against Katrina alleged that "rather than protesting at the offensive and insensitive statement, she joined Salman in insulting the community through her conduct."
Meanwhile, 'Tiger Zinda Hai' emerged Salman's highest grosser
'Tiger Zinda Hai', that had hit the screens around Christmas last year, is now the highest grossing movie of both Salman and Katrina. It has raked in around Rs. 340 crore at the domestic box office Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film was a sequel to Kabir Khan's 2012 blockbuster 'Ek Tha Tiger.'
