What's the story
The much-awaited sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Raid, Raid 2, will be released on May 1, 2025.
The film features Ajay Devgn in the lead role, and Riteish Deshmukh as the antagonist.
After the first film (which grossed around ₹100cr in India), the makers chose to continue the franchise with yet another true story.

'Raid 2' teaser to be launched digitally and in theaters
According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, the first teaser for Raid 2 will drop digitally toward the end of next week.
It will then be showcased in theaters across the nation during the Eid 2025 release of Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna.
Initially set for a 2024 release, Raid 2 moved from a February 2025 window to finally land in May.

The source further revealed that a deal has already been struck with multiplex owners to screen the teaser.
"Ajay Devgn, Kumar Mangat, and Bhushan Kumar are reaching out directly to the audience with the communication of being the next big-ticket releases for the big screen."
"Being a quintessential Hero vs Villain story, the makers are aiming to reach out to the least common denominator," the source added.
