First big Bollywood production to opt for dual medium release
The tweet further informed that the trailer of the action movie will be out tomorrow. It is apparently the first big Bollywood production to opt for dual medium release. About the decision of simultaneous release, a source has told a portal, "Salman Khan wants to bring some positivity in this dull phase and wants the audience to enjoy Radhe at their comfort."
The 'Radhe' team had planned to release it in July
"The ones who want to go to the cinema halls, can watch it there, others can watch it at home," the source added. To recall, more than a week ago, there were rumors that Salman and his team were planning to postpone the release of Radhe, considering the coronavirus situation. The team had considered waiting till Eid al-Adha and release it on July 16.
Other '5-8 major Bollywood films' to follow suit after 'Radhe'?
Apart from theaters, Radhe can also be watched on ZEE network and DTH operators with a pay-per-view option.
