Salman Khan's 'Radhe' to stream on ZEEPLEX soon after release

Superstar Salman Khan's Eid release, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, is undoubtedly one of the most-anticipated movies of 2021.
While the movie is expected to draw viewers to cinemas, the makers are also planning to make it available for streaming, sooner than expected.
The movie could be up on ZEEPLEX within a month of its release in May.

Shariq Patel from ZEE Studios revealed the plans
Recently, Shariq Patel, Chief Business Officer, ZEE Studios, spoke with Bollywood Hungama about the plans.
"We are looking at releasing Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai earlier on ZEEPLEX. What that window would be is something that we haven't decided yet. But yes, we definitely plan to bring Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai within a month of its theatrical release on ZEEPLEX," he said.
Clash
The movie will clash with 'Satyameva Jayate 2'
Notably, the Khan starrer will have to compete for box office business with John Abraham's action flick Satyameva Jayate 2. They will release on May 13.
While Khan has kept Eid holidays 'reserved' for his releases, it's new territory for Abraham.
Satyameva Jayate 2 is the sequel to the 2018 release Satyameva Jayate. Abraham will be seen in a double role in the movie.

Khan and Prabhu Deva have teamed up once again
Even though the makers have not revealed much about the storyline, the posters suggest that Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will be high on action.
Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff, and Randeep Hooda.
The film will mark the third collaboration between Prabhu Deva and Khan. The duo had teamed up earlier for Wanted and Dabangg 3.

Several South Indian films streamed on OTT soon after release
The old rules dictated that a film could start streaming on OTT platforms only after eight weeks of release.
Though the filmmakers want the window to be shortened, theater chains are fighting them on it.
The directives, notwithstanding, many movies from the South, released on OTT platforms soon. For instance, Vijay Sethupati's Master started streaming on Amazon Prime Video within 16 days of its theatrical release.
