'Race 3': Salman Khan to resume shooting in India
As Salman Khan is not allowed to leave the country without court's permission, the makers of 'Race 3' have now decided to film the sequel in India. Almost 90 percent of the shooting has been completed and the remaining will be wrapped up under one schedule. Salman, who was recently convicted in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, has come out on bail.
Salman's bail came as a relief for makers
After the superstar was sentenced to five years in jail, question marks were raised on the release of the upcoming thriller. However, the makers were relieved when Salman was granted bail by a Jodhpur court. The 'Dabangg' actor was found guilty of hunting two blackbucks twenty years ago.
'Race 3' is slated to hit the screens on Eid
The third installment of the successful 'Race' franchise is slated to release on June 15. Apart from Salman, 'Race 3' also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem. The film is jointly bankrolled by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani's Tips Films. Choreographer-turned-director Remo D'Souza is helming the project.
