Salman Khan's 'Race 3' bags the highest satellite rights ever
Salman Khan's star power is unparalleled. Many a time it has happened that the superstar has ended up competing with himself at the box office as no other actor comes close to him in terms of collection. Now, all eyes are on 'Race 3' which has already started setting new records. The film just bagged the highest satellite rights for a Bollywood film.
'Race 3' satellite rights are sold for this whopping amount
Looking at the immense craze for the Remo D'Souza directorial, multiple TV channels were in talks with the makers for the satellite rights. And finally, the producers cracked a deal worth Rs. 130 crore, thus, beating Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' by a huge margin. 'Dangal' satellite rights were sold for Rs. 75 crore which was the highest ever till now.
Will Salman get his fourth Rs. 300 crore grosser?
Salman is the only Bollywood actor to have invaded the Rs. 300 crore club thrice with 'Bajrangi Bhiajaan', 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'. Trade experts have predicted that 'Race 3' will went to become Bhai's highest grosser ever which means it will be his fourth entrant into the elite club. Let's wait and watch.
'Race 3' is releasing this Friday
Besides Salman, the film features an ensemble cast of Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and will be storming the box office from June 15. 'Race 3' will also be released in 3D.
