Despite terrible reviews, 'Race 3' beats 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Sultan' weekend-total
A film that had become a subject of endless jokes on social media and was categorically panned by the critics, can earn Rs. 100 crore in three days only if it has Salman Khan in it. 'Race 3' has reinstated that nothing could withstand Bhai's star power. The opening weekend total of 'Race 3' is higher than that of the much-loved 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', 'Sultan'.
Rs. 106.47 crore and counting
The action-thriller has become Salman's twelfth consecutive film to cruise past the Rs. 100 crore mark. Raking in Rs. 39.16 crore on Sunday, 'Race 3' currently stands at a total of Rs. 106.47 crore. 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and 'Sultan', which are considered as Bhai's best works in recent times, had earned Rs. 102.60 crore and Rs. 105.53 crore respectively in the first three days.

Will 'Race 3' continue to score big in the weekdays?
With the initial euphoria surrounding the Remo D'Souza directorial settling down, the actual word of mouth will come into play from today and it will be interesting to see if the film will be able to carry on with the same momentum. Also, 'Race 3' only has one more week to score as Ranbir Kapoor 'Sanju' will be hitting the screens on June 29.
Sixth Rs. 100 crore grosser of 2018
2018 is turning out to be a much better year for Bollywood as compared to the last one. 'Race 3' has become the sixth film to enter the Rs. 100 crore club after 'Padmaavat' 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety', 'Raid', 'Baaghi 2' and 'Raazi'.
