'Raazi' trailer: Alia Bhatt's Indian spy act is gripping
The much-awaited trailer of Alia Bhatt starrer 'Raazi' has finally been unveiled. Co-starring Vicky Kaushal of 'Masaan' fame, the film is an espionage thriller and has Alia portraying an Indian spy named Sehmat. In the trailer, Alia is seen being married off to a Pakistani army officer (Vicky) so that she can be the 'eyes and ears' of India in the neighboring country.

Twitterati sees a lot of promise in Alia's film
So far, 'Raazi' trailer has fetched mostly positive reviews on Twitter. "@aliaa08 #RaaziTrailer #raazi looks promising. Cant wait to watch," wrote Shantanu. Supremely impressed by Alia's act, Khalid Ahmed Khan tweeted, "Even by watching just trailer of #Raazi I can proudly say this is Alia's one of the best performances so far. Hats off! @aliaa08."
'Raazi' is slated to release next month
'Raazi' is based on a novel by Harinder Sikka called 'Calling Sehmat' and is being directed by Meghna Gulzar who has previously helmed Irrfan Khan starrer 'Talvar'. Backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film is slated to hit the screens on May 11. This is the first time that Alia and Vicky are sharing the screen space.
