'Raazi' day two collection: Alia's film witnesses massive growth
After a strong start on Friday, Alia Bhatt starrer 'Raazi' has recorded a fantastic jump on day two at the box office. The spy-thriller witnessed a growth of over 50 percent and raked in Rs. 11.30 crore on Saturday. 'Raazi' currently stands at a total of Rs. 18.83 crore and is expected to touch the Rs. 30 crore mark by Sunday.

Both the critics and the audience have dubbed 'Raazi' as Alia's best performance till date. The 25-year-old has grown as an actor by leaps and bounds in the last couple of years. As a result of which, her fan following has increased multi-folds. And now, with the phenomenal success of 'Raazi', Alia has proved that she can carry a film entirely on her shoulders.
'Raazi' has been directed by Meghna Gulzar
Based on a novel titled 'Calling Sehmat' by Harinder Sikka, 'Raazi' has been directed by Meghna Gulzar. This is her second directorial venture after Irrfan Khan starrer 'Talvar', which released in 2015. Backed by Karan Johar, the film also features Vicky Kaushal. 'Raazi' narrates the story of an Indian girl who gets married to a Pakistani army-man during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.
