Though Rajkummar Rao-starrer 'Newton', which was India's official entry to Oscars 2018, couldn't bag an award, it has definitely boosted the confidence of our filmmakers for winning the award. Here are the top contenders for India's official entry.
Announcement to be made today
Twenty-eight films are nominated for the top spot and the announcement will be made today, i.e. September 22. Reportedly, India's official entry for Oscars 2019 will be made at the IMPPA House.
