In the season of re-releases, a fan favorite is making a comeback!
The beloved 2013 romance drama Raanjhanaa, starring Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is set to hit theaters again on February 28.
PVR Cinemas announced the news on Instagram, stating, "Some love stories deserve an encore!"
This announcement follows the recent reveal of Tere Ishk Mein, a spin-off to Raanjhanaa. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, it will star Dhanush and Kriti Sanon.

'Raanjhanaa' plot and cast details
Raanjhanaa narrates the tale of Kundan (Dhanush), a devoted Banarasi boy who has been in love with Zoya (Kapoor Ahuja) since childhood. However, their love faces challenges due to religious and social differences.
As Zoya falls for Akram (Abhay Deol), Kundan's unrelenting love leads to a tragic yet deeply emotional journey.
The movie also stars Swara Bhasker and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, from the same universe, Rai is now bringing another tragic love story in which Dhanush plays Shankar.
Last month, a teaser introducing Sanon's character Mukti was released, where she walks past a riotous mob with an oil container and delivers a powerful dialogue.
The video ends with an intense stare from Sanon, a cigarette clenched between her lips as she flicks a lighter.
The film will hit theaters on November 28.
