It's celebration time for VJ-turned-actor Purab Kohli as he became a proud father of a baby boy on January 26. The Hip Hip Hurray actor welcomed the new addition to his family recently. Purab, who has been quite reserved about his personal life, took it to Instagram to share the big news. He also posted the first picture of his son Osian Nur.

Purab is certainly grinning ear to ear post the arrival of his little bundle of joy. The Rock On!! actor chose to share the news with a heartwarming post on Instagram. Osian happens to be Purab's second child with wife Lucy Payton. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2018. They already have a three-year-old daughter Inaya Amelia who was born out of the wedlock. Purab and Lucy were in a live-in relationship at that time. Having a child born out of wedlock does raise eyebrows in India even today.

After all, it means challenging the age-old institution of marriage. However, Purab's family was quite supportive of his decision. "I understand that the decisions I have made with Lucy have shaken the foundations [of the] institution of marriage, but my family was evolved enough to accept us," he said. Meanwhile, Purab has been acing his fatherly duties these days and is certainly winning hearts.
