Dil Raju to refine script for film with Vijay Deverakonda
Following a significant setback with Family Star—starring Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur—acclaimed producer Dil Raju is reportedly refocusing his energies on an upcoming film. Collaborating with Devarakonda and director Ravi Kiran Kola on an untitled project, Raju intends to meticulously examine the script and screenplay. "He will dig deep into the script and screenplay and he will make necessary corrections...and would ensure a wholesome entertainer by plugging all the loopholes," reported Deccan Chronicle.
Raju's trust in 'Family Star' team led to unexpected loss
Raju had previously placed his faith in the successful duo of Deverakonda and director Parasuram for Family Star, based on their past success with the 2018 romance drama Geetha Govindam. However, the film fell flat. The source stated, "He didn't keenly observe the screenplay since he totally trusted the heady combination." "He just spent lavishly since he believed that Parsasuram had a winner on hand but things went awry."
