The reception was hosted by Priyanka's mother Madhu Chopra to officially introduce Nick to the media. And while media was in awe of the international couple, Nick melted our hearts after he revealed how he convinced his sasu maa Madhu to let him marry Priyanka.

They walked hand-in-hand for their wedding reception and were a sight to behold. The diva looked ravishing in her blue off-shoulder Sabyasachi lehenga while Nick complimented her in his grey suit. The couple stood for long hours, greeting everyone with a smile.

During the reception, as she introduced Nick to the media, the blushing new bride proudly told the guests, "This is my husband, Nick Jonas". "This has been an extremely special chapter in my life. And I wanted my husband to meet all the people who have contributed to it," Priyanka went on. She hoped everyone has a great time at the function.
Nick recalled how he convinced Madhu for the marriage
After Priyanka's speech, it was Nick's turn to say a few words. And the singer-actor used the opportunity to make an interesting revelation. He said, "It wasn't too far from here that I took Madhu out to lunch to ask her if I could marry her daughter. I couldn't be happier to be with you all." Safe to say, the lunch changed Nick's life.

After a month-long wedding celebration, Priyanka-Nick will be flying to Switzerland, next week, for their honeymoon. The couple, who is currently preparing for their second Mumbai reception, will, reportedly, be heading to Swiss Alps on December 28. Media reports suggest that while their itinerary involves a pit stop at Montreux, they will ring in the New Year at the resort town on Lake Geneva.
