Priyanka Chopra, Will Smith to feature in YouTube's ad-supported originals
Expanding its slate of ad-supported originals, YouTube has roped in Will Smith and Priyanka Chopra to feature in its new projects. The Google-owned company unveiled its first slate last year which included shows like 'Best.Cover.Ever.', 'What the Fit' etc. Priyanka, who has become a sought-after name in the West, will be hosting a series called 'If I Could Tell You Just One Thing'.
An exciting new endeavor for PeeCee
Priyanka's 'If I Could Tell You Just Thing' will be about her journey of meeting inspirational people and asking them for advice on changing the world. On the other hand, Smith will perform a deadly stunt which will be streamed live on YouTube. Dubbed 'The Jump Off', it'll have Smith jumping out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon on his son's birthday.
YouTube Chief Business Officer Robert Kyncl announced the shows yesterday
"We see an opportunity to evolve and dig a little deeper using the global reach of YouTube to shine a light on human stories that inspire us and make us smarter," YouTube Chief Business Officer, Robert Kyncl was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is busy with multiple projects
Priyanka is back as FBI agent Alex Parrish in the third season of her TV series 'Quantico'. She also has two Hollywood films in her kitty at the moment - 'A Kid Like Jake' and 'Isn't It Romantic?' Besides, Priyanka has signed 'Bharat' opposite Salman Khan. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial is her homecoming to Bollywood.
