No season four for Priyanka's 'Quantico' as ABC cancels show
Priyanka Chopra starrer 'Quantico' has been canceled by ABC. The political thriller series, currently in its third season, will not be back for a fourth season. However, the current season will continue to air through mid-July. At present, PeeCee's show is averaging 2.3 million viewers with a 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic.
The reason behind 'Quantico' getting cancelled
As per a report by The Hollywood Reporter, ABC decided to pull the plug on 'Quantico' as it was a difficult show to produce logistically. The production of the series took place in Toronto while the writers sit in Los Angeles and creator David Guggenheim is based out of New York. Notably, 'Quantico' was a profitable outing for the network.
Several other shows have also been dropped
Along with Priyanka' show, Fox's 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine', 'The Mick', Zach Braff starrer 'Alex, Inc', Marvel series 'Inhumans', 'Deception', 'The Crossing', 'Designated Survivor', 'Lucifer', 'The Last Man on Earth' have also been axed.
Will Priyanka now do more Bollywood films?
Priyanka, who is returning to Bollywood with Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat', said in a recent interview, "Last year I couldn't do that many movies. I did two though, even though my hiatus was just two months." "I want to be able to do features. I want to be able to do Indian movies," she added.
