Madhu, who is happy about Priyanka's new journey, is all hearts for her 'videshi daamaad'. Singing praises about Nick, she told DNA, "He is immensely respectful and well-spoken. He makes sure everyone around him is comfortable. He's the best son-in-law one could ask for." Madhu also mentioned that Nick was completely comfortable with the blend of both cultures and enjoyed the rituals thoroughly.

A daughter's wedding is indeed the biggest day in a mother's life and Madhu was no different. She was emotional as her little girl took the big step and married beau Nick Jonas. "It was an emotional moment for everyone. I broke into tears when I saw Priyanka dressed as a bride. I had waited for this day all my life," Madhu told DNA.

Apart from her wedding ceremonies, Priyanka's white wedding dress, designed by Ralph Lauren, has also left us awestruck. Undoubtedly, Priyanka nailed her bridal look. In fact, her mother too couldn't take her eyes off her princess. "Priyanka looked 'her prettiest best' in the outfit. There was no jhatak, no jhilmil — it was a simple yet classy ensemble," Madhu added.
Madhu is all praises for Priyanka for bringing East-West together
Madhu even praised her daughter for being so connected to her Indian roots despite being a global star. "I'm immensely proud of her. It's majorly because she has done so well for herself and still continues to be so rooted," Madhu stated. She also mentioned that both the families followed all the rituals during the wedding whole-heartedly and without any objection.
