Wedding of Priyanka Chopra's brother canceled for the second time?
Priyanka Chopra, who was in town for her brother Siddharth's wedding festivities, has flown back to the US, where she stays with her husband Nick Jonas. This is because the wedding might have been canceled, though earlier it was reported that it has been postponed. However, now social media accounts of Priyanka, Siddharth, his fiancée Ishittaa Kumar tell a different story. Let's find out.
Priyanka, Nick had flown down for her brother's roka ceremony
Siddharth and Ishittaa got engaged this February, and their roka ceremony was attended by Priyanka and Nick, who had flown down from Los Angeles. Priyanka had written a post on Instagram that time, welcoming Ishittaa to the family. Even last month, she and Nick sent her customized gifts and a card writing, "It's a kit to be a bride. We love you."
Siddharth-Ishittaa wedding was postponed because of her medical treatment
Siddharth and Ishittaa were to get married last weekend. A grand reception was also planned for the newly-weds on April 30. However, the wedding had to be postponed because Ishittaa got admitted to a hospital for an emergency surgery. Ishittaa herself had posted a couple of photos from the hospital bed, and wrote, "Recovering from surgery. Very painful but glad it's over."
Ishittaa's Instagram account doesn't have any of her roka pictures
While all looked believable till now, the real shock came when Ishittaa deleted all her roka ceremony pictures, before getting rid of her Instagram account temporarily. Her last post before deletion had her sitting in a resto-bar, with a cryptic message that said, "Cheers to new beginnings, with a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings." Her mother wrote, "Close old book and write new story."
Priyanka, her brother have 'unfollowed' Ishittaa on Instagram
While her father wrote, "We're with you. Feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be." Not just the Kumars, even the Mary Kom actress unfollowed Ishittaa on Instagram as soon as she landed in the US, however retaining her brother's roka ceremony pictures. Her brother was next, but her pet dog Bailey Chopra still 'follows' Ishittaa.
Priyanka's mother Madhu and publicity manager remained mum over this
All these developments dropped huge hints about Siddharth and Ishittaa calling it quits. When media tried to reach Madhu Chopra, Priyanka's mother, and the actor's publicity manager on this, both remained unavailable for comment. However, on Thursday, Madhu had said, "We are disappointed (about wedding getting postponed) but what can you do when a person is unwell? We wish Ishittaa a speedy recovery."

Even a source close to the Chopras had said earlier, "There are rumors that the wedding has been called off, but it is not true. Ishittaa needs some time to recuperate from her surgery and the families are looking for another mahurat."
Siddharth was earlier engaged to his girlfriend Kanika Mathur
If these reports turn out to be true, this isn't the first time Siddharth's wedding got called off. Earlier he was to get married to his long time girlfriend Kanika Mathur in Goa on February 25, 2015, and wedding preparations had also started two months in advance, which Siddharth had confirmed. However, few weeks later he wrote, "Single. Ready to mingle. Go Goa Gone."
