Now, 'Bharat' producer calls Priyanka Chopra 'unprofessional' for ditching movie
Priyanka Chopra's engagement to Nick Jonas made big news yesterday, but her personal happiness spelled trouble for her professional commitments. One of the producers has even labeled her unprofessional for leaving on such a short notice.
PeeCee left film in a lurch, producer miffed
Nikhil Namit, the CEO of Reel Life Productions, said Priyanka gave them just two days notice before leaving the movie. Admitting that this had left the film in a lurch, he called her decision unprofessional. Priyanka, however, had been in talks with the team for over two weeks saying that she might have to opt out of the film, reports suggested.
Priyanka may have ruffled some feathers, but director seems okay
Ali Abbas Zafar, the director of 'Bharat', supported Priyanka's decision to leave and posted on Twitter that the reason was 'very special' and they were all happy for her. Moreover, the director seems unruffled with the statements of other team members. On Twitter, he announced they are looking for someone new to replace Priyanka, and seems all is fine between him and PeeCee.

Since this would be Khan's Eid gift to fans, expectations from this movie are high. When Khan and Zafar paired in 2015, we got 'Sultan', a blockbuster.
