Lilibet makes rare appearance on mom Meghan's 'As Ever' website
What's the story
Princess Lilibet, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's daughter made her public debut in a photo on Markle's newly launched lifestyle brand website, As Ever.
The picture shows an intimate moment of a mother and his daughter strolling hand-in-hand across a lush field with the Pacific Ocean as their backdrop.
Both are wearing white and are barefoot, with Lilibet's red hair—a trait inherited from her father—flowing behind her.
Brand launch
Markle's rebranded lifestyle brand 'As Ever' launched
The photo of Princess Lilibet and Markle is a major highlight of the unveiling of As Ever, a rebranding of Markle's lifestyle brand. The brand centers around cooking, gardening, and mindful living.
Only two weeks prior to the premiere of her Netflix series With Love on March 4, the Duchess revealed the new name for her lifestyle brand—previously known as American Riviera Orchard—on Tuesday.
Brand evolution
Markle discussed brand name change and Netflix partnership
In an Instagram video, Markle explained why she changed her brand's name from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever.
She said, "Last year, I had thought, 'American Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.' It's my neighborhood; it's a nickname for Santa Barbara, but it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area."
She also spoke about her Netflix partnership in both her show and business ventures.
Brand identity
'As Ever' reflects Markle's enduring passions
Markle further clarified the meaning behind As Ever, saying it means continuity or "as it's always been."
She cited her blog The Tig, active since 2014, as proof of her long-standing love for cooking, crafting, and gardening.
"And I haven't been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years, but now I can," she added.
Product anticipation
Markle expressed excitement about future 'As Ever' products
Markle also teased what else As Ever will offer, saying, "Of course, there will be fruit preserves; I think we're all clear at this point that jam is my jam."
She said she was excited to share more products she loves with her audience. "But there are so many more products that I just love, and now it's time to share them with you. So I just can't wait for you to see it. Thanks, guys!"
